Tropical Landscapes
The landscapes of Trinidad & Tobago, for me posses an enchanting and tranquil place; mysterious, forbodeing and spectacular. Blessed by high mountains and a over abundant flora and fauna, there is nothing like it anywhere else. Artists throughout the years have been spellbound by its beauty and charm; it contintues to be a recluse from the chaotic and organised melee of the Carnival compositions.
Tropical Architecture
This small collection of architectural paintings is often referred to as "the dancing houses", cover the years 1995 to 2012. They were first done for the 1st solo show "Pamdemonium" in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. Since then, they have been a permanent fixture in all exhibitions both in Trinidad & Tobago, England, the Caribbean and the USA. Two small books have been complied' "The Dancing Houses" and “La Petite Maison" that celebrate and showcase their vitality and dynamism.

Carnival in Trinidad stretches back intro the late 1700's when the French introduced it. Since then it has become the national festival, becoming not only a national icon, but a global one that is distinctively Trinidadian. This collection of work includes both past and current work (1996-2011) and incorporates the twisted and over-exagerated perspective and composition that I began in 1995. Since I have accumulated over 26 solo shows on the topic of Trinidad both locally and abroad.

In 2006 I embarked on the very thing that influenced and charmed over the years-Trinidad Carnival. Having painted carnival for over 12 years, it was now time to make it. And to begin at its roots, at the beginning of the mas that we know as "The Greatest Show on Earth". J'Ouvert, the dawn of Triinidad Carnival, where it all started in the early dark shadows of Carnival Monday morning. Hence in 2006 the J'Ouvert band MAS Jumbies was born onto the streets of Port-of-Spain.
